nail polish remover sponge bottle

Removing nail polish isn’t one of those things that is necessarily hard to do, but when you’re in a hurry (and who isn’t?) this DIY “dip and twist” nail polish remover jar is really convenient. No need for cotton balls or toilet paper—just insert your finger into the sponge and twist to remove nail polish!

This easy DIY even works for removing gel polish! You’ll need to file the shiny top layer down using an emery board first, but afterward you can use the jar the same way as described below.

To use it, insert your finger into the center of the rolled sponges, let it soak for a moment, then twist your fingertip around to rub it against the sponges. The polish will come right off!

Floating In Dreams

This jar method is great for removing dark-colored polishes and even glitter polish. No muss, no fuss! If the nail polish remover or acetone makes your skin dry, apply a bit of cuticle oil afterward.

In between uses, keep the cap tightly on the jar so it won’t evaporate. When it gets used up or really dirty, replace the sponge and add more nail polish remover.
